The Mission
Healthy Cultivations mission is to improve the health and well-being of the people in the community in which they live by providing the necessary tools, so no matter where people live, they are able to grow healthy food in their backyard or living space.
The Vision
Healthy Cultivations envisions a healthier population, enhanced communications between families, neighborhoods and community leaders. We would like to be a driving force in helping with the elimination of food desserts within our communities.
Goals
To collaborate with youth programs and other agencies that teach gardening, landscaping and construction of customized garden beds or boxes.
To distribute 500 or more customized garden beds or boxes annually to eligible households.
To engage community leaders who support the elimination of food deserts in the communities.
To create viable employment and training opportunities.
Meet the Healthy Cultivations Board
Judy Wentner - Founder and President
Judy Wenter, is the founder and president of HealthyCultivations.org. She is a long time resident of Stockton, CA. Her mother and family have deep roots within the agricultural community of San Joaquin County. Judy's grandparents and various other relatives settled in Bethany and Tracy areas in the early 20th century. Her grandfather was the first farmer to bring irrigation to San Joaquin, by using electric pumps to pump the water out of the San Joaquin River into the pipes.
Judy attended Lincoln Elementary, Middle and High schools. Upon graduation she attended Delta College and San Jose State College. She earned her master's degree in education, along with a lifetime teaching credential from the State of California. She went on to have a very rewarding and successful career of 38 years with the Lodi Unified School District.
Judy's desire to give back to the community where she grew up and still resides today, is the driving force behind Healthy Cultivations. Creating a legacy that honors her family's contribution to the advancement of agriculture in California and helping the people who live in the community. Fulfilling the mission of Healthy Cultivations is Judy's top priority!!

Tasha Dixon
Treasurer
Tasha Dixon is a dedicated community leader, financial professional, and lifelong servant-leader with more than 40 years of experience serving individuals, families, and underserved communities.
She recently retired from San Joaquin Delta College after nearly 30 years as a Financial Assistant. During her tenure, she served on the Scholarship Committee and as Treasurer of the African American Employee Council, helping support educational access and scholarship opportunities for deserving students.
A devoted Christian and ordained minister, Tasha has served in church leadership for more than 15 years and has led Children’s Ministry throughout her life. Her decades of community service include food and clothing distribution, homeless outreach, convalescent ministry, and juvenile hall ministry.
Tasha has also served as Chief Treasurer for city council and mayoral campaigns, contributing her expertise in financial stewardship and organizational leadership.
A loving mother, sister, aunt, friend, and mentor, Tasha’s life reflects integrity, compassion, generosity, and a true servant’s heart.
